websites.
In my art class (Introduction to Visual Literacy) we spent the whole class not soo much in debate but expressed thoughts, emotions and asked questions and repeated the question:
what is art?
We watched youtube in class to show performance art pieces.
THANK YOU YOUTUBE... you allowing us to watch and see how art can be black and white and spark controversy. What is art?
Could youtube be a form of art.
I Don't Know. I'm not getting into it. It's good viewing.
The fact is we used the Internet ("New Media") to see art, that we would have to otherwise visit. But what's the point of going to see it outside the classroom when the web makes it so accessible. Well to me the emotion, the presence, the idea. Is websites like youtube taking over how we learn, how we laugh, how we create or document? Just Thoughts.
I Don't Know. But it makes browsing easy.
Gotta Love YouTube :)
